The common malfunction of electric-hydraulic press brake and solutions
1. Slide can't move down quickly

  •  The poppet valve is not connected and the spool is stuck
  •  The spool of the directional valve which controls filling valve is stuck, can't be reset
  •  The orifice of the filling valve is blocked
  •  The proportional valve is abnormal
  •  The mechanical part is too tight


2. There is large synchronization error between two cylinders when slider quick moves down
  •  There is large friction difference between the two guide rails
  •  There is large friction difference between the two cylinders
  •  The connection between one cylinder and slider is skew, radial force
  •  Check whether the damping in the filling valve control port which is on synchronous block is blocked
  •  Check whether the filling valve is stuck
  •  Check whether the cylinder, slider is too tight
  •  The proportional valve is abnormal

3.The system does not build pressure
  •  The oil pump is bad and does not suck oil
  •  Pilot control valve leaks too much
  •  Damping blockage of control panel X port
  •  The electrical connection of proportional pressure valve is abnormal
  •  The pressure of proportional valve damages
  •  Two-way cartridge valve is stuck

4. Cylinder not synchronized, or slider tilted
  •  Zero shift of proportional servo valve
  •  Proportional valve is stuck, spool can not work full stroke
  •  Proportional valve core wears too much
  •  Parts of valve are missing after cleaning, incorrect installation

5. Cylinder can not return, or return slowly
  •  System pressure is set too low
  •  The filling valve fails to open
  •  Return pressure is set too low
  •  Electromagnetic reversing valve which controls the filling valve is stuck
  •  The damping in the filling valve control port which is on synchronous is blocked
  •  Proportional servo valve's action is abnormal

6. Slide can move down quickly but no work
  •  System pressure has a problem
  •  The electromagnetic reversing valve which controls the filling valve has problem
  •  The damping in synchronous block, pump filling valve control port is blocked
  •  Check the proportional servo valve's operation
  •  The filling valve is stuck

7. Cylinder crawl
  •  There is air in the system
  •  System pressure is unstable
  •  The proportional servo valve is abnormal
  •  Dirty oil
  •  Oil problem
  •  The deviation of cylinder friction is too large
  •  Back pressure is set incorrect
  •  Piston valve mistakenly gets electricity

8. System doesn't relieve pressure
  •  Control panel cover Y port (return port) damping is blocked
  •  Proportional pressure valve and safety valve got stuck together

9. Slider pauses long from quick move down switch to work
  •  Check whether the oil in tank is sufficient
  •  Check the sealing of filling valve and filling tube
  •  Check whether the filling valve is working properly
  •  Check whether the selected filling valve flow is sufficient
  •  The damping in the filling valve control port is too small

10. The oil temperature rises too fast, the system pressure is too high when the oil pump is empty, and the motor is easy to trip
  •  When the oil pump runs empty, the system pressure is generally about 1 MPa. If the pressure is too high, check whether the hydraulic resistance at the Y port on the pressure control cover is blocked.
  •  When the machine's oil pump is empty, there is no pressure in the system. However, if the oil temperature rises quickly, the filter element is blocked by the contaminants in the oil, fuel tank or pipeline. The filter element needs to be replaced.
  •  Check whether the working distance is too long,whether the holding time is too long, whether the hydraulic system piping configuration is reasonable

11. Slider decline
  •  Synchronous back pressure valve and safety valve pressure is set too low
  •  Determination the cylinder oil leakage is a leak within the cylinder or within valve group
  •  If it is determined that the sync block is leaking, the poppet valve and safety valve on the sync block need to be cleaned
  •  The slider slides in some places, indicating that the cylinder is not sealed properly in a certain section.
