1. Shearing length*width*thickness
If shearing width exceeds the back gauge's length, then the back gauge's length needs to be lengthened. If the sheet is thin, should add pneumatic rack.

2. Material of your sheet metal, shear's design is based on σb ≤ 450N/mm2
Different material,different requirements to the blades, also affect the shearing thickness.

3. User's requirement for straightness
Guillotine shear is better than swing beam shear.

4. User requirements for parallelism
Guillotine shear is better than swing beam shear.

5. User's requirements for speed
Swing beam shear is faster than guillotine shear.

6. User's requirements for distortion
Guillotine's shearing angle is adjustable. It is advantageous to cut thin plate under the condition of reducing the shearing thickness.

7. User's customary and cost-effective requirements for controlling system
