What Other Special Processing Can the Bending Machine Apply to Besides Bending

Bending machine is able to do conventional plate bending processing, based on that, it can also complete much special processing, such as reaming processing after bending, groove treatment before bending, cutting holes or cutting lines alongside the bending line, using repair processing to make it to the design dimension at the edge of the hole after bending.

When press brake bending machine doing reaming processing after bending, only one or a few pixels hole to the distance of the bending lines is less than the minimum spacing. When the need for product appearance is strict, in order to avoid material stripping when bending, you can treat the pixel with shrinkage, but there are many procedures to do and the efficiency is low.

In actual design, because of the need for structural design, the processing factory usually adopts the groove treatment before bending because the actual distance is smaller than the above-mentioned distance. Since the numerical control bending machine line processing has one more procedure, less efficiency, and less precision, in principle, it should be avoided as far as possible.

When the bending line used by bending machine has no influence on the appearance of the workpiece or it is acceptable, we can cut holes to improve the manufacturability. But there are also disadvantages of doing so, it will affect the appearance, and generally, need to use laser cutting when cut lines or narrow slots.

When required to ensure the hole spacing, you need to use repair processing to make  the bend holes which are close to the bending line to the design dimension after bending, but usually it can't be finished on the punching machine, and can only make secondary cutting in laser cutting machine which is high-cost and it is hard to locate.
