How to Standardize the Procedure of Operating Bending Machine

2. Basic operation methods:
2.1, the first is to connect the power supply, open the key switch on the control panel, and then press the oil pump to start, so you can hear the rotating sound of the oil pump. (At this time the machine does not move)
2.2, the adjustment of the stroke, the use of the bending machine must be careful to adjust the stroke, and must test the car before bending. There must be a thick clearance at the bottom of the bending machine. Otherwise, the mould and machine will be damaged. The adjustment of stroke also has electric quick adjustment and manual fine adjustment.
2.3. Select the slot with the width of 8 times of the thickness of the plate. If the sheet that bends 4 mm, we need to choose the slot about 32.
2.4. The adjustment of rear block is generally electric quick adjustment and manual fine tuning, which is the same as the shearing machine.
2.5. Step down the pedal switch and start bending. The bending machine is different from the shearing machine. It can be released at any time. If you loosen your feet, the bending machine will stop and continue downward.
3. Procedures for safe operation
3.1. Strictly observe the safety operation procedures of machine tools and wear protective equipment according to regulations.
3.2. Before starting, check whether the motor, switch, line and grounding are normal and firm, and check whether the control parts and buttons are in the correct position.
3.3. Check the recombination and robustness of the upper and lower modes; Check whether the positioning devices meet the requirements of being processed.
3.4. Run back to the origin program when both the upper slide and the positioning axis are not in the origin.
3.5. Empty running 1-2 minutes after launch, the slider on the full stroke movement 2-3 times, if there is abnormal sound or failure,it should immediately stop, and troubleshooting, everything should be normal before work.
3.6. Work should be conducted by one person, so that the operator will work closely with the feeding press to ensure that the coordination personnel will give the bending signal in the safe position.
3.7. The bending of the plate must be compacted to prevent the cutting of the plate when bending.
3.8. The power supply must be cut off when the die is pressed.
3.9. When changing the opening of the variable mold, no material is allowed to contact with the mold.
3.10. When machine tools work, the back of the machine is not allowed to stand.
3.11. It is strictly forbidden to press the sheet at one end.
3.12. If the workpiece or die is not correct when running, it should be stopped and corrected, and manual correction is strictly prohibited.
3.13. It is forbidden to damage the machine tool by prohibiting the heavy metal plate or the hardened steel plate, the high alloy steel, the square steel and the plate of the bending machine.
3.14. Frequently check the recombination of the upper and lower molds; Whether the instructions of the pressure gauge comply with the regulations.
3.15. If an exception occurs, stop immediately, check for the cause and remove it.
3.16. Before turning off the machine, place wooden blocks on top of the bottom of the cylinder on both sides of the cylinder to slide down onto the block.
3.17. Exit the control system first and then switch off the power.
4. Maintenance of bending machine:
The machine should be turned on every day to remove foreign objects and metal debris. Check whether the mould installation is firm. Whether the electrical switches, cables, and fasteners are abnormal and not loose. Before we carry out the machine tool maintenance or wipe the machine, we should put the top die down and shut down the machine until the work is finished. If you need to start the boot or other operation, the mode should be selected manually and secure. The maintenance contents are as follows:
4.1 Hydraulic oil circuit
a. check the tank oil level every week. If the hydraulic system is repaired, it should also be checked. The oil level is lower than the oil window, and the hydraulic oil should be filled;
b. The new machine should be changed after 2000 hours. After every 4000 ~ 6000 hours, we should change the oil. Before oil change, we should clean the tank.
c. The temperature of system oil should be between 35 ℃ ~ 60 ℃, the temperature shall not exceed 70 ℃, if the temperature is too high, it will lead to damage to metamorphic oil and accessories.
4.2 The filter
a. The filter should be replaced or cleaned thoroughly during each oil change;
b. The machine should be replaced when there are abnormal phenomena of other filters such as alarm or oil.
c. The air filter on the fuel tank shall be inspected and cleaned every three months,  and it is best to replace it in 1 years.
4.3 The hydraulic components
a. we should clean the hydraulic components (baseboards, valves, motors, pumps, tubing, etc.) every month to prevent the dirt from entering the system, and we can not use detergent;
b. After a month's use of the new machine, we will check whether there is any distortion in the bending of the oil pipes. If there is any abnormality, it should be replaced after two months, and the connection of all fittings should be fastened.
